About Our Church
Established in 1857

Our Vision
To grow a church where unity in truth is greater than one divided in error

A historic church, with a contemporary vision

At Columbus Baptist Church, we believe in the everlasting Biblical truths that teach and guide us. We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God - the revelation of Himself to man. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe the free gift of salvation is offered to all who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, who obtained eternal redemption by His own blood on the cross. We memorialize the death and resurrection of Jesus when we partake of Holy Communion. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We believe the lukewarm church has become so normal that a true Biblical Christian church seems radical.

We are not lukewarm.
